Using Windows Azure Active Directory with Subscription Applications
The Windows Azure Active Directory can be used as an Identity Provider (IdP) for Single Sign-On (SSO) services with many Software as a Service (SaaS) applications on the Internet. For Office 365 subscribers this is a great feature allowing the users the convenience of using only their enterprise domain credentials to work with the different SaaS application their enterprise is using. For the enterprise, it provide a single point of control and access management with that set of SSO applications.
In this paper we’ll look at the methods available for the Gallery Applications and the specific steps in the console used to set up an application for SSO with WAAD as the IdP.
