Harry Kasparian founded CTI in August of 1994 and has been working in the technology field for more than 35 years. He is responsible for the corporate strategy and organizational development as well as day-to-day operations of the company. In recent years he has successfully transformed the company to a solution focused business analytics and data management business model. In doing so, he has created collaborative lines of business to provide focus for strategic initiatives that align with evolving IT technologies and client needs.
Prior to founding the company, he developed a broad range of experience in sales, engineering consulting, management and operations. Harry spent nine years at Sun Microsystems where he held various sales and management positions. He is responsible for the successful launch of what became important and significant pre-IPO long-term account relationships for Sun with their earliest and largest OEM customers. In subsequent roles at Sun, he successfully opened many new accounts and managed multiple sales teams.
Harry’s career also includes years of experience at companies including Analog Devices, Invensys and Metcalf &Eddy where he held various engineering and management positions in many corporate functional areas including product line management, marketing, engineering management, consulting, operations, and project management.
Harry holds a BS in Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, an MS in Engineering from Northeastern University, and an MBA from Boston College, Carroll School of Management. He is an active member of various IT vendor advisory boards including Oracle and Informatica.
Tammy joined CTI in August, 1999 and is responsible for leading and overseeing strategic execution of our business plan, budgeting, and financial reporting for the company. She is a major contributor to the organization’s corporate development and is also responsible for business Operations Management.
Prior to joining CTI, Tammy was the Controller at MicroScript where she implemented structure and financial management within the organization, while playing an active role in its progression from a private to public company. Her career began in public accounting where she has worked within various industries, ranging from retail to software technology. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Lowell, as well as an MBA from the University of New Mexico.
Vice President, Client Engagement
Shawn Allaway is Vice President of Client Engagement responsible for the leadership of our entire sales and business development organization, growing revenue and new account acquisition. As a member of the senior leadership team, he will be a key contributor to our ongoing marketing and business strategy.
Shawn brings years of experience in business leadership, growth and change management. After beginning his career in finance and accounting as a CPA, Shawn has held executive roles at leading consulting, managed services, software and systems integration organizations. Most recently he was regional Vice President at Expedient Data Centers where he led their northeast market expansion efforts. Prior, Shawn held multiple positions including CEO/SVP of Sales and Operations in three international software technology companies held by the same Australian private equity company.
Shawn has SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and managed services business development and operations experience. He started his sales career with a leading Microsoft Dynamics SaaS provider in our area, Surebridge where he was promoted to the position of Sales Director. When Surebridge was acquired by Navisite, Shawn remained and was asked to assume the role of General Manager. His broad perspective will help us continue to adapt to the changing landscape in our served markets.
Shawn is graduate of Northeastern University with a dual major in accounting & finance which adds to his strong diverse background. Now residing in Woburn MA with his wife, he has a son and daughter who are twins. He spends his spare time golfing, skiing, fishing and traveling with family.
Vice President, Professional Services
Kurt oversees the company’s Professional Services organization. Having founded the practice, he has driven its rapid growth, building a consulting team able to deliver a wide variety of BI Analytics, Data Management and Platform solutions across numerous industries.
Kurt has a wealth of industry experience spanning strategic, technical and commercial roles. As an IT executive, he was Vice President of Product Architecture for a major financial services firm. Later, he was head of IT for a leading 1,000-employee professional services firm. Prior to his IT roles, Kurt was an Engineer and Senior Consultant for two global vendors servicing clients in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Kurt is a 1985 honors graduate in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Kent in England. He holds a patent in collaborative technologies, has addressed international groups numbering in the thousands, and served as board member on a local university to advise on their technology curriculum.
Lance Young-Ribeiro is Director of Marketing. In this role he is responsible for the development and execution of the company’s go to market strategy, overseeing all outbound and inbound marketing activities. He provides leadership for the planning, building, optimizing and performance of the full range of marketing initiatives from lead generation, awareness and visibility, customer acquisition and expansion as well as partner marketing activities.
Lance has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and sales roles at both large technology vendors like Platinum Technologies and IBM as well as dynamic and fast paced start-up companies like Bowstreet Software where he managed both direct and partner marketing alliances and activities.
Lance started his professional career as a modern dancer and has accumulated years of experience in a diverse set of professional environments including Bank of America , MFS and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation where he held various management, consulting and operational positions.
Lance is a graduate of Middlebury College with a joint major in Spanish/Theatre, Dance and Film. He is also a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership and the Byron Katie School of the Work and a Certified Facilitator of the Strengthening Families Program for Native Americans.
Director, Platform Strategy and Consulting
Ben Thurston is Director of Platform Strategy and Consulting, responsible for leading the presales and delivery components of our Platform Services team. Serving as a member of the leadership team, Ben contributes to our marketing and business strategy and planning.
Ben began his career as a software engineer at Cabletron Systems in the Spectrum Advanced Applications Group. Later he expanded his skills in the area of data center infrastructure with companies like Davox Systems and Genuity. His strong leadership experience comes from managing a very successful Managed Services business for Nexl Network Systems where he led teams spread across three states, from coast to coast.
Ben is a graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Computer Engineering Technology. He resides in his home state of New Hampshire with his wife and daughter. He spends his spare time flying model aircraft, saltwater fishing and enjoying family.
James Bench is a Director of Data Analytics Strategy and Consulting at CTI. James brings over 17 years of consulting experience and is responsible for the management and delivery of the consulting delivery and provides strategic direction and leadership. He brings great depth and experience in delivering complex and large modernization and transformative data strategy programs for enterprises who look to have a competitive edge.
James’ experience encompasses many domains in information management with specialist skills in data integration, data warehousing, cloud analytics, data modelling, metadata management, data quality management, business intelligence & analytical reporting, application design and development, and program management.
Prior to joining CTI, James was a Senior Manager and Director at Deloitte Consulting and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu where he was a senior leader in the Information Management Practice. He has worked both in the United States and abroad in Australia.
Director, IT and Operations
Bill joined CTI in 2003 and is the Director of IT & Operations. He is responsible for overseeing all IT and Operational resources and is a technology advisor to the organization. He is responsible for establishing, managing and evolving the systems and processes used to provide our customers the highest level of service possible. He also evaluates technologies and market trends to help guide and develop go to market strategies which best serve our customers’ interests.
As a member of the IT industry for over 20 years Bill has held senior IT and Operational roles in both large and small organizations leading diverse teams of varying sizes. Prior to joining CTI he was Director of Information Systems for a multinational organization working primarily on merger related activities including team and systems integration. Earlier he was Director of IT for a leading speech technology company designing and implementing scalable infrastructures and adaptable business systems
