Business Intelligence Senior Consultant

Position Summary: 
As a Business Intelligence Senior Consultant you will provide hands-on mastery in delivering business intelligence technologies for CTI’s clients demonstrating analysis and development leadership in one or more areas, working on small to large size projects with up to a high level of complexity.  Collaborate with the project team to contribute insight to the architecture, development plans and testing strategy. Work with modest supervision provided by senior co-workers. Work directly with the client and travel to the client site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Conduct data and requirements analysis, design, and implementation activities in dash-boarding, reporting and warehouse/ETL solutions. Perform hands-on tasks as required, with expertise in areas of high complexity. Provide technical architecture reviews with project staff.
  • Independently work to ensure successful delivery of your work while understanding the inter-dependencies with other areas of the project.
  • Define test plans and execute testing procedures
  • Create training materials and train users
  • Understand and adhere to all confidentiality and security policies
  • Ensure time is entered into CTI project accounting system in a timely manner
  • Flexibility to travel as business dictates

Essential Education, Skills, and Work Experience:

  • BS or MS degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related discipline
  • Four plus years of experience with business intelligence, ETL and database tools with a thorough understanding of dimensional modeling and relevant data concepts

Specialized knowledge and Skills: 

  • Proficient in at least one business domain (supply-chain, CRM, etc.).
  • Proficient in development methodologies, QA fundamentals, and project management.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Strong written and oral skills with sensitivity to the client relationship and expectations.
