Recent Assignments

Our Systems consultants work on many diverse projects on-site, including the following, which have recently been completed:

• DATA CENTER MIGRATION: Relocate more than 60 servers—in Windows, Linux and Solaris operating environments; plan the move, de-install and pack existing environment; install, cable, and test relocated servers to ensure full functionality.
• SERVER INSTALLATION: Perform site preparation, integration of all server components, rack mounting, cabling and power; upgrade platform firmware and configure for IP connectivity; install base OS instance with provided IP and Volume metrics, configure IPMP (if applicable), Sun Traffic Manager (if applicable), Sun LVM (if applicable) and/or Hardware RAID Mirroring of OS disks.
• LEVEL ONE WINDOWS TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Perform Help Desk activities for MS Office applications; perform system administration activities such as password modification, user setup and file server configuration.
• SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION: Provide administrative support in a Sun production environment, including Unix/Linux troubleshooting, ensuring host connectivity to storage and network resources, and systems deployment.
