Corporate Technologies Ranked on Inc. 500 Annual List of America's Fastest-Growing Private Companies
Five year revenue growth of over 1500% earns ranking at #174
Burlington, Massachusetts - Thu, Oct 11, 2001
Corporate Technologies today announced it was ranked number
174 on the Inc. 500TM. Inc. Magazine's annual ranking of America's fastest-growing
private companies. Corporate Technologies, a leading systems integrator in
the Northeast U.S., gained its ranking with a 1,500 percent growth rate over
the past five years.
"Corporate Technologies is extremely honored to be recognized as an emerging
growth leader by Inc. Magazine, one of the nation's most well-respected publications," stated
Harry Kasparian, Corporate Technologies President and CEO. "Our ranking
in the Inc. 500 is a testament to our enterprise systems technology centered
business model and focus on providing solutions that meet our customer's needs."
Started in 1982, the Inc. 500 ranks the nation's leading entrepreneurial firms
- privately held companies with at least $200,000 in sales - according to sales
growth over the previous five years. Former Inc. 500 companies that have gone
on to become household names include Microsoft, Timberland, Domino's Pizza
and Patagonia.
As home to some 33 Inc. 500 companies, Massachusetts ranks third behind California
and New York. Reflecting the technology boom in the past five years, the largest
percentage (38%) of Inc. 500 companies were in "computer software and
services," followed by "diversified services," such as human
resources and advertising, (21%). Telecommunications was a distant third with
5 percent.
"The Inc. 500 gives America a window on the future - which companies will
be the Microsofts and Timberlands of tomorrow," said George Gendron, Inc
editor-in-chief. "The economy may have slowed, but entrepreneurial enterprises
have always been, and will continue to be, the nation's foremost engine of growth
and job creation."

Corporate Technologies' Enterprise Storage Practice Meets Client Demands For Data Management Strategies and Solutions
Tested and proven storage solutions provide clients with confidence amidst complexity
Burlington, Massachusetts - Wed, Aug 1, 2001
Corporate Technologies, Inc. (CTI), a leading Sun MicrosystemsTM
iForceSM Regional System Provider, has increased its investment in its Storage
Practice, dedicated to simplifying the design and deployment of complex enterprise
storage solutions. CTI's storage practice has evolved from years of experience
working with clients relative to their storage infrastructure architecture
and data management strategies.
CTI created its storage practice as the result of specific client requests
and growing industry demand. By 2002, enterprises will be consuming 1.4 million
terabytes of storage annually, 12 times the amount consumed in 1998, according
to research performed by Dataquest Inc. CTI's storage practice will address
this need, delivering solutions for the storage, management and delivery and
content of data on demand.
"The volume of corporate data being created is doubling every 6 months.
This data explosion, coupled with the fact that data is can be a company's most
valuable asset, results in mounting pressure to improve access to and availability
of information," said Harry Kasparian, President and CEO, Corporate Technologies. "The
announcement of our Storage Practice is a matter of formally and organizationally
acknowledging our engineering expertise and existing best practices in order
to best focus on our clients growing needs."
CTI's Storage Practice will ensure that proper technologies are selected based
on a breadth of knowledge and experience in Storage Area Network (SAN), Network
Attached Storage (NAS), Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) and Storage Resource
Management (SRM) technologies. CTI will develop an enterprise storage architecture
and deploy infrastructure based on technologies from Sun Microsystems Enterprise
servers and complementary technologies including Hitachi's Lightning 9900 family
of arrays under the Sun StorEdge 9900 name. As one of the few systems integrators
already closely aligned with both Sun Microsystems and Hitachi, CTI is in a
uniquely qualified position to work with the Hitachi technology. The company
said that they have already completed the certification process required for
Sun's authorization to support the Sun StorEdge 9900 and they are actively
involved in multiple related engagements.
"Our customers need guidance and recommendations around the many new and
often alternative and often complex storage architectures and solutions and that's
exactly what we're offering," Kasparian said. "They'll be able to better
deploy strategic applications, such as data warehousing, bio-informatics, CRM
and ERP."
In its Interoperability Lab, CTI has assembled and tested best-in-class storage
solutions from leading vendors, including Sun Microsystems, Hitachi Data Systems,
Network Appliance, Compaq, Microsoft, Veritas, Brocade, JNI, Qlogic, StorageTek,
Vicom, and Oracle. The Storage Practice has built and tested highly available
storage environments, including tape backup solutions.
"When we meet with a customer and match a solution with their needs, we
can show them the exact set up we're recommending and the results of our testing.
These proven, interoperable solutions give our clients an incredible level of
confidence," said Peter Baer Galvin, CTI's Chief Technology Officer.

Corporate Technologies Selected a Sm@rtPartner Magazines 2001 Sm@rt 100 Company
CTI ranked #49 in in the publication's annual ranking of most innovative and successful e-business partners
Burlington, Massachusetts - Fri, Jun 15, 2001
In its annual ranking of today's most innovative and successful
e-business partners, Sm@rt Partner Magazine has ranked Corporate Technologies
at the 49th position. in its "comprehensive list of innovators and the
smartest decision makers in the partnering universe." CTI was evaluated
among a broad field of competitors in a variety of ways including "overall
growth and profitability, involvement in the internet space, and forward
thinking aggressiveness in quickly adapting to new technology."
In a letter to CTI CEO Harry Kasparian, Editor-in-Chief Ed Sperling noted "You
were selected by our editors following a rigorous evaluation process, beginning
with a huge list of companies that was narrowed down with final ranking primary
criteria that included revenue per employee, new business and strategic partnerships."
Most complimentary about the ranking is that every company ranked above CTI
is many times its size. CTI CEO Harry Kasparian explained why the company has
been performing well, even in a difficult economy. "Despite the adverse
economic climate, or maybe because of it," he said, "CTI has continued
to earn the favor of clients demanding strong, business-driven partners. CTI
stands out among its competition because it offers deep technology expertise
in combination with a ROI-based solutions for IT organizations that today must
rationalize every project dollar investment. The survey results are testimony
to the fact that CTI has continued to earn high marks for customer satisfaction
and a strong track record of customer retention."
As in the past, this year's ranking was based on recommendations from Sm@rt
Partner's editors and responses to their online survey. The magazine analysis
included such criteria as revenue per employee, new business and strategic
partnerships and, of course, financial performance across the board. Despite
the various business models and size of the companies selected, most of have
several important things in common. They didn't bet the ranch entirely on the
Internet or target dot-com clients exclusively. Almost all of this year's top
companies, including CTI, have restructured themselves in the past few years,
and in many instances have added new capabilities.
With the collapse of many of the dot-com solutions and service providers, well-established
integrators and consultants like CTI are reasserting themselves in 2001. In
contrast, many of the e-Integrator firms that dominated last year's list did
not make the list this year. CTI, has grown to become a leading enterprise
solutions provider over the past 7 years, and has continued to be successful
by applying a consistent, solid business model built on a focused professional
services offering.

Corporate Technologies to Launch eStore to Sell Pre-built Sun Microsystems Netra™ servers
CTI's exclusive AutoBuild technology allows customization of Netra servers and bundles
Burlington, Massachusetts - Fri, Jun 1, 2001
Corporate Technologies, Inc. (CTI), a leading full-service
provider of enterprise and e-business solutions, today launched an on-line
store to sell custom-configured Sun Microsystems rack-optimized Netra servers.
The Corporate Technologies storefront holds three distinct advantages over
other on-line stores - customization, quick delivery and customer service.
Customization
Store customers will benefit from CTI's AutoBuild technology, which allows
the Netra servers to be custom configured without adding substantial cost or
delivery time. Based on its engineering intellectual property, CTI has built
three server bundles to meet the most demanded server functions: web servers,
file servers and mail servers. The purchaser can provide his configuration
data securely through the store and the server will be configured accordingly.
When the customer receives the Netra server it will be ready to deploy, right
out of the box.
"The store launch will allow us to more widely share with our customers
the expertise and intellectual property of our engineering team which has built
the exclusive AutoBuild technology," said Harry Kasparian, President and
CEO, Corporate Technologies. "Delivering custom-configured Netra servers,
bundled with the most popular application suites, with a commitment for quick
delivery is a huge value add to our customers and will raise the bar in the way
configurable systems are delivered."
Quick Delivery
The Corporate Technologies store provides same day shipping for orders received
and processed by 12:00 noon EST. Corporate Technologies has also taken steps
to maintain an adequate stock level of the Netra servers offered through its
storefront, and avoid stock outs, which are frustrating to customers, yet still
very common in the industry.
Customer Service
Customers buying questions can speak with CTI store agents to get their shipping,
warranty, service contract and order status questions answered. Those needing
technical assistance with specific selection, configuration and deployment
questions can get the direct input of CTI's engineering staff.
"Sun's goal is to help our iForceSM sales partners
deliver a straight-forward easy-to-use, on-line buying vehicle for Netra rack-optimized
servers," said Peter Basmajian, marketing manager, Sun Microsystems, Inc. "Corporate
Technologies has built an impressive storefront while meeting our objectives.
In addition, by utilizing their Application Development Center, they have built
a high traffic website with a sophisticated back-end for their customers. This
is what separates the winning storefronts with traffic, and those without."
Potential buyers can find the store at http://www.BuyaASun.com and
can access product images, specs, comparison tables, and white papers to aid
them in making their decision-making. To celebrate the opening of the store,
Corporate Technologies will be running a contest, and giving away one Netra
in each week throughout the month of June. Future enhancements to the store
will include offering the complete Netra product line, corporate purchasing
agreements, maintenance contract tracking and customer access to previous server
configuration profiles.
