Corporate Technologies, Inc., a leading full-service provider of e-business and enterprise solutions, is the recipient of a Partner Technology High Achievement Award for fiscal year 2000 by Oracle. Corporate Technologies is one of only four partners across the entire U.S. to receive the award.

The criteria for the Partner Technology Award are 1) high revenue impact or influence and 2) operational excellence. Operational excellence encompasses many areas like Oracle skills staffing, marketing penetration, self-sufficiency, sales strategy and execution.

"Having implemented many solutions based on Oracle technologies we've built a deep knowledge of their tools and technologies," said Harry Kasparian, President of Corporate Technologies, Inc., who accepted the award. "Oracle's award is an indication that Corporate Technologies is a top choice for companies seeking help in e-business architecture, application design and implementation around Oracle technologies. That's where our focus is and where we can add tremendous value that is difficult to find elsewhere."

"Corporate Technologies had a stellar year with Oracle in FY'00 and is a model partner in that they can fully execute a transaction without Oracle assistance, said John Nugent, VP of Sales for the General Business unit for Oracle Corporation. The Corporate Technologies team is extremely professional and the Oracle sales team can always rely on them. Corporate Technologies has always demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm for Oracle."

Corporate Technologies, Inc. Ensures Trouble-Free Launch for ExpertCentral.com

Burlington, Massachusetts - Mon, Jan 24, 2000

Corporate Technologies, Inc., a leading full-service provider of e-business and enterprise solutions, completed the web site design and implementation for ExpertCentral.com. After assuming responsibility from the original development company, CTI was able to complete the site development and accelerate ExpertCentral.com's time-to-launch.

Following its successful site launch, ExpertCentral.com was acquired by About.com, the 9th largest web property for the month of December 1999, according to Media Metrix. Based in Newton, MA, ExpertCentral.com is an online service that links people seeking answers to specific questions with more than 5,600 experts in 18 information categories.

"A lot of companies have great business propositions but lack access to a single organization that can provide systems and application architects as well as application development team. Coordination of these efforts is critical to successfully pulling off a production quality site in the ever collapsing market window," said Harry Kasparian, President of Corporate Technologies, Inc. "Our clients have told us that it's rare to find the combination of consulting expertise that we've developed in a single organization. We're seeing companies rushing to get their concept to market only to be left with a site which is not reliable, doesn't scale and suffers from poor performance. Unfortunately, these problems result in disappointment in the eyes site visitors and investors."

Lacking the in-house expertise, most companies will first contract an application development house and then later acquire define the systems architecture and software components for their site from another source. The people putting together the systems architecture are not involved in the application development process which leads to an implementation that performs poorly, doesn't scale or is not reliable.

"We started searching for a new, full-service e-business provider because our initial provider could not meet all our needs," said Eric Lew, Vice President of Technology at ExpertCentral.com. "We chose CTI because we needed a single source to design, build and ultimately operate our Web site in a very short period of time. Their expertise in both systems integration and application development allowed us to launch our site and get to market faster than our competitors and to deliver a product that could scale to the future needs of our customers. The payoff from hiring CTI is immeasurable."
