Recent Assignments

Our Business Intelligence consultants work on many diverse projects on-site, including the following, which have recently been completed:

• FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS: Establish the types of metrics, KPIs, reports and dashboards that will yield immediate impact with the business/users; mock-up the metrics glossary and reports/dashboards for review and validation with users.
  
  
• DATA ANALYSIS: Understand the data structures available within the source systems, and the data integration gaps that will need to be addressed (e.g., mapping an AWD processor to the processor record in IEX).
  
  
• MOCK-UP: Create an integrated dimensional model and map to available data sources.
  
  
• SECURITY ANALYSIS: Understand how/if what types of information must be granted through secure methods and how to integrate such security with the new environment.
  
  
• MIGRATION: Install XI 3.1 software, migrate XIR2 content into the new XI 3.1 server, and perform updated security review to leverage new XI 3.1 features, such as Access Levels.
  
  
• IMPLEMENTATION: Develop Business Objects dashboard and reporting modules by working iteratively with the business and project team to define the functionality of the Universes, Crystal Reports, WebIntelligence, and Xcelsius components.
