POSITION TITLE: BI Lead Consultant

Position Summary:
We are seeking a senior BI consultant for a project lead role with our clients. You will function as a senior analyst, architect, and project delivery lead supporting our Clients in the Northeast.
You will "own" the relationship with the Client - from pre-sales/proposal development, through technical design and delivery, to development of incremental opportunities. You will be adept at managing not just the technical but also the project and organizational dynamics of the Client. The Client will look to you as their "go-to" person and long-term trusted advisor. You will possess a deep background in data warehouse design, data integration / ETL issues, and BI / reporting methods, with specific experiences of the BI benefits achieved in various industries or functional areas.
This Position Requires:
- BI project leadership.
- Thorough technical understanding of how to develop and apply BI solutions.
- Thorough understanding of at least one business domain (supply-chain, CRM, etc.).
- Strong project management and organizing skills.
- Excellent communication and “client-facing” skills.
- 8+ years of "data-analytics" in a consulting capacity emphasizing:
- Data warehouses / data-marts and dimensional modeling.
- Business intelligence/reporting solutions (Business Objects / Crystal preferred).
- Data load (ETL) and data quality techniques (any vendor).
- Various RDBMS platforms (Oracle strongly preferred).
- Exposure to portal technologies is a plus (Oracle, BEA, Microsoft).
