A global provider of ecommerce solutions partnered with Corporate Technologies to deploy multiple IT infrastructures to support numerous business-to-consumer retail environments around the world. The company’s business model dictated that any infrastructure considered would need to be cost-effective, high-performance, quick-to-deploy, and—most of all—thoroughly reliable, since it would be deployed in remote co-location hosting centers with no personnel on-site.

The company had already standardized on high-performance white box servers running industry-leading databases and its own proprietary software, which would facilitate the selling of its customers’ products in a unique and competitively advantageous way.

Corporate Technologies was asked to recommend both storage and load-balancing technologies that would complement these selections and meet the company’s overall business model goals.
