Our BI consultants approached the solution first by interviewing end users from finance, HR, sales, and marketing, and then creating a standard set of business definitions—leveraged by our domain-driven approach for each functional area. Drawing on our in-depth data and BI expertise, we worked with the IT organization to redesign their data warehouse to accommodate the new business definitions. Early prototypes, delivered after only six weeks, allowed for rapid review, feedback and refinement of the direction.

The company is already planning on expanding the BI solution to include more performance metrics and additional business units.
