A Fortune 50 financial services company asked Corporate Technologies to redesign their core computing infrastructure at one of their divisions. In partnership with our client, we established goals of increased reliability, performance, and flexibility, which drove the architecture.

We were intimately involved throughout the design process, from providing the knowledge and expertise to guiding the design, through meeting with infrastructure users to explain its functionality, and taking part in the budget justification process. With a goal of 99.99% uptime, we architected a solution that reduced service disruption from thousands of hours per year to tens of hours per year. We also doubled the computing capacity (CPU, memory, and I/O) to handle future growth, and architected a “zero effort service addition” that allows adding new services to the infrastructure without retrofitting.
